I am determined to check at least one thing off of my list this week. Right now, I am thinking about going to the Greensboro History Museum. I have never been here, and I need to go. I want to go. I am ashamed to admit that I have lived here in Greensboro for 30 years and I have never been. And I love history. There is no reason why I cannot go. And it's free! Even better incentive! So, I think I am going to do that Saturday morning. Get in early and hopefully find some other fun things to do that day. We shall see how it goes.
While I'm in that area, I might as well stop by the library and get a card. That's something else that I am ashamed to say I do not have. But when I was in school....all three times...I did not need one really because I could use the University library. Now, I would like to be a patron of our local library services. I think it is important to support them as much as possible. And since I'm downtown, I might even find some place new to eat. Why not make a day of it? Of course, I do have a birthday party to go to that afternoon but I can fit it all in. Life's too short not to!
I am also considering going to the zoo this weekend. I haven't been in almost ten years. I always enjoy the zoo, and I think that it is going to be nice weather for it. This is another establishment that I would love to give my support to. That reminds me, I haven't been to the science center in a long time either. While that's not on my 50 at 50 list, it's something to consider. Well, that would definitely be enough for this weekend. If anyone wants to join, let me know!
