This is one of those Christmas songs that lingers in the back of my mind during the holidays and whenever it plays, I will stop what I'm doing and quietly listen to it. Harry Belafonte first released it as a single in 1956 and then it was included in his 1957 album An Evening with Harry Belafonte. It is a hauntingly beautiful song and I love sharing it here with you all. Enjoy!
