One of the things that I believe that this world needs more of is kindness, especially in the way we talk to and about each other. I'm not just talking about being polite and having good manners, which I definitely think this world is lacking right now....fodder for another blog.... but taking time to say kind things to other people for no other reason than to just be kind. It does not take much to do at all and means the world, sometimes literally. It is good for both the person receiving and the person giving. This verse from Proverbs is a perfect example of what I mean:
