This is so true for me. I know that when my mind is going a thousand different directions, it is extremely hard for me to focus on anything, and I often make less than good decisions. It happens a lot at night when sometimes I just cannot get my brain to shut down. So, I treasure the moments of silence when I can really sort things out and take my time. It relaxes me and relieves me of stress. This is an area where getting into some kind of meditation will be good for me. Getting that kind of clarity, especially if I practice in the morning, to start my day with is going to work wonders for me, overall.
